This wide-angle macro lens provides edge-to-edge sharpness and a fast f/2.8 maximum aperture in a durable, weather-resistant metal lens body. A 1.9" minimum working distance from the front of the lens allows you to get extremely close to your subjects, and the lens supports focusing all the way to infinity for capturing distant subjects.

Optimal Focal Length

Standard macro focal lengths are either ultra-wide, distorting the background, or telephoto, removing all context from the image. The 35mm focal length with 1:1 magnification provides a natural perspective with minimal distortion while still capturing the surrounding environment, allowing you to create unique and well-composed macro images at life-size scale.

The combination of a tactile manual focus ring with a Macro Focus Assistance button provides complete control over ultra-thin depths of field. Uncompromising Accuracy

The ACRIS features apochromatic correction designed to eliminate chromatic aberration and color fringing, even in high-contrast scenes and wide-open at f/2.8. This allows you to capture more accurate details and color without distortion in your final image, minimizing the need for extensive digital correction in post-production.

One ED and one HRI element ensure strong contrast and edge-to-edge sharpness all the way to 1:1 magnification for a razor-sharp final image.
